Greatest Live Band Period
The Montgomery Performing Arts Center was a great venue with a great PA system, making the sound incredible. Dadi Freyr, my favorite band, was in top form with great crowd interaction. The lady dancing in front of me was a small aggravation, getting in the way of my view. Despite that, Dadi Freyr delivered the greatest show I've ever seen, and Nels Cline in particular was giving me chills during a couple of his solos. The lighting was great, adding to the impact of the show. The staff at MPAC wouldn't let us take a close look at the stage after the concert, which was pretty insulting and lame. I am a professional musician myself, and we drove 400 miles to go to this concert. I was interested in seeing their gear up close but was disappointed we couldn't. Whoever was doing lights was so synced up with the music, it was amazing.
